Abstract: A large number of experimental data is required to assess the strength of composite materials in respect to their anisotropy level and impact of complex stressed state, especially when the values of this parameter are defined in different directions. In this study, an attempt has been made to reduce the number of testing methods for plain composite elements. The later simplification follows from the theoretical interpretation of stress tensor.
