| Abstract: | Calixarenes are versatile macromolecules in the field of supramolecules because of its synthetic feasibility and extensive analytical applications. This paper reviews synthesis of calixarenes and related derivatives containing heterocycles, polymers, crown-ethers, and fullerenes. Various analytical applications of calixarenes are discussed. |
