Abstract: | Present paper reports 10 groupers (family Serranidae) from West Bengal coast on the east coast of India for the first time. These 10 species are Cephalopholis formosa, Epinephelus areolatus, E. bleekeri, E. caeruleopunctatus, E. erythrurus, E. fasciatus, E. longispinis, E. magniscuttis, E. radiatus, E. sexfasciatus. This paper provides comprehensive morphometric characters, description, photography and distribution of these 10 groupers. |
