| Abstract: | The shrimp-associate gobiid Cryptocentrus filifer (Valenciennes, 1837) is reported for the first time from Indian coastal waters, with four specimens along with its morphometrics. Cryptocentrus is discussed and compared with closely related Indian shrimp-associate gobiids and the sexual dimorphism of the species is described. |
