Abstract: In this paper, three 5-bromo-2-substituted-4(3H)-quinazolinones have been synthesized by loop of 2-amino-6-p-bromobenzoic acid which is the raw material. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been determined by using IR and NMR spectroscopy. The outstanding advantages of this paper are that the raw materials can be easily obtained, simple process, high product purities and easy separation. This method has low cost and is suitable for mass production of 5-bromo-2-substituted-4 (3H)-quinazolinones.
