Abstract: 2-Pyridyliminosalicylcellulose has been used for the adsorption and estimation of copper, zinc and cobalt by both column and batch techniques. The distribution coefficient D has been determined for each metal ion. Methods have been developed to estimate copper, zinc and cobalt in steel, milk and vitamin samples respectively.
