Abstract: Crustacea formed the bulk of the zooplankton collected from the Andaman Sea. Species composition and distribution of major crustacean groups, viz. Copepoda, Ostracoda,Euphausiacea and Decapoda in general showed a mixture of oceanic and neritic species with euryhaline species dominating the composition. Their distribution is compared with other studies. Species diversity and evenness in the distribution of species was quite high.
