dc.description.abstractAn efficient, rapid and mild method for the synthesis of 1,2,4-triazolo-[4,3-⍺][1,8]naphthyridines 4 by the oxidative cyclization of vanillin 3-aryl-1,8-naphthyridine-2-yl hydrazones 3 with FeCl3.6H2O in the solid state by grinding at room temperature has been described. The products are obtained in good yields with high purity.en_US
