Abstract: A comparatively simple automated system for continuous monitoring of five important environmental parameters, viz wind speed, wind direction, dry temperature, wet temperature and atmospheric ionization current, has been described, The constructional and operational details of the five independent sensors and their corresponding electronic circuitry have been explained. The system has been in continuous use for more than a year and has been working satisfactorily without any serious operational or maintenance problems.
