| Abstract: | Model calculations of volume emission rate profiles of H and H emissions are performed in proton aurora. Analytical expressions for H and H populations are obtained. These populations are then coupled with the proton fluxes to compute the volume emission rate profiles. The predictions of this model are compared with auroral measurements. |
