| Abstract: | Vertical profiles of positive and negative ionic conductivities measured by using a balloon-borne Langmuir probe payload-launched from Hyderabad on 22 Apr. 1989 are presented. The measurements were free from very large gondola charging reported for several earlier flights from Hyderabad. The results obtained indicate a close agreement with the model based on cosmic ray ionization. |
