Abstract: In this study an effort has been made to assess fisheries resources of Pakistan and determine its economic value. The survival of the fisheries industry of Pakistan lies between the modification and thinking of the people associated with this industry. With adequate production and maximum utilization of fishery resources, Pakistan could be able to achieve a remarkable position in the national and international seafood market which in turns stimulates the nation’s economy.
