| Abstract: | Isoxazolines have been synthesized from N-phenyl-α-chloro nitrone using 1,3 dipolar cycloaddition reaction with alkynes and the reactions are found to be highly stereoselective in nature. The products have been characterized by analytical and spectral (IR, ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR and mass) data. |
