| Abstract: | A survey of the document copy requests received at Insdoc during 1980-1985 was undertaken with a view to identify high use core journals in physics. It was found that the 113 identified journals out of 2093 physics journals could satisfy a majority of requests in physics and that it compared favorably with the rank list of the British Library Lending Division's demand in 1980 and with the rank list of Science Citation Index (JCR 1984) based on citation count. |
