| Abstract: | Diaryl ethyne bridged zinc and free base porphyrin containing dimers with four bromines exclusively on one of the porphyrin ring have been synthesized.The energy transfer from an excited zinc porphyrin to free base porphyrin depends mainly on the position of bromines in the dimers. |
