| Abstract: | The Lewis acid catalyzed glycosylation reaction of β-peracetylated sugar derivative (glucose) with terminally unsaturated C3- C11-alkenols is used in a synthesis of some C3- C11-alkenyl glucopyranosides as precursors for unsaturated neutral bolaforms. The process occurs under the influence of tin (IV) chloride. |
