Abstract: Industrial designs' is a branch of intellectual property which was established to give the proprietors of innovative designs a set of competitive advantages in manufacture and trade. Beginning with the historial background of registration of Industrial designs in India and other basics of such registration, the paper addresses various aspects of registration of industrial designs. It presents an overview of the Indian industrial design law and practice, facts and procedures.
