| Abstract: | Chemical investigation on the stem bark of Taxus wallichiana results in the isolation of a rare phenyl propanoid 2-(3,4- methylenedioxyphenyl )- propane- 1,3-diol 1 and (+)catechin 3. These compounds have been characterized on the basis of their spectral characteristics. |
