| Abstract: | Numerical v/s quantitative variation in ingredients of various formulations of Indian Systems of Medicine is one of the major limiting factors for development of SOP (Standard Operative Procedure) and standardization. The paper enumerates & highlights SOP hiatus with special reference to formulation like Cyavanaprāśa having Āmalaka (Indian gooseberry; Emblica officinalis Gaertn.) in 500 numbers in single lot. |
