| Abstract: | Eleven silver and twenty-five copper coins of British rule
(1857-1947 A.D.) have been studied and their elemental compositions have been
estimated using non-destructive and simultaneous multi-elemental EDXRF
technique in order to verify the effectiveness of this technique for analysis
of coins on routine basis. The computer code AXIL was employed to obtain the
elemental concentrations from the EDXRF spectra. The obtained results are
presented. |
