| Abstract: | Some technological
parameters of ostrich skins and leathers, which are considered to be important
in the leather industry, were analysed. It was observed that these parameters
vary according to whether skin comes from the neck, leg and back sides.
However, on the basis of area and strength values, leg and back sides are more
appropriate for upper leather production and neck sides may be used as
accessories. |
