| Abstract: | A simple and rapid method for the determination of alcohol in
petrol-alcohol mixtures using density measurements is described. The method can
determine a minimum of 1% of alcohol by volume. The precision of the method is ± 3%.
The method is more useful for field test in the quality assessment of alcohol
blended petrol. |
