Abstract: | Black tea is the cheapest non-alcoholic stimulant taken throughout the world and is manufactured from the young tender shoots of Camellia sinensis (Linn.) O. Kuntze, grown in some tropical and temperate countries. India is the major producer, consumer and exporter of tea. Unpruned tea plants produce more dormant buds than growing buds. |
