| Abstract: | Grapefruit, Citrus paradisi Macf. (Hindi — Chakotra) can be used to prepare different cosmetic products to tone up the epidermis, to treat acne and the flushed epidermis. The oil from peel showed an inhibitory activity against Penicillium digitatum and P.italicum. The methanol and chloroform extracts from C. paradisi peels showed antibacterial activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. |
