| Abstract: | The incidence of diabetes mellitus is found in 6% of the world population, i.e. at least 30 million people throughout the world suffer from diabetes mellitus. Plants used in folk medicine to treat diabetes or as hypoglycaemic agent represent a viable alternative for the control of diabetes mellitus. |
