| Abstract: |
Traditional methods of treatment using
plants and animals are followed in Mahmora region of Sivasagar district, Assam. The
plants, either single or as multi component preparations are used to treat
various ailments. An attempt has been made to study 35 plant species, from 35
genera belonging to 30 families along with the method of preparation and mode
of use.
