Abstract: Enantiospecific syntheses of B-seco-nortaxanes have been accomplished starting from the readily and abundantly available monoterperpene (R)-carvone. Carvone has been converted into both A-ring as well as C-ring derivatives of taxane and coupled with a two carbon unit.
