Abstract: The<b style=""> </b>condensation reaction of 4-oxo-4<i style="">H</i>-1-benzopyran-3-carbaldehyde with 3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazolin-5-(4<i style="">H</i>)-one has been carried out under ultrasonic irradiation at room temperature (R.T.) in distilled water (D/W) as solvent, catalyzed by borate zirconia catalyst.
