Abstract: The condensation reaction of 4-oxo-4H-1-benzopyran-3-carbaldehyde with 3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazolin-5-(4H)-one has been carried out under ultrasonic irradiation at room temperature (R.T.) in distilled water (D/W) as solvent, catalyzed by borate zirconia catalyst.
