| Abstract: | One new triterpenoid of oleanene-series,
cornulacic acid acetate 1 along with oleanolic acid acetate has been
isolated from the flowers of Calendula officinalis Linn. The structure
of 1 has been established as 3b-acetoxy-olean-12-ene-27-oic
acid on the basis of spectral data analysis and chemical reactions. |
