| Abstract: | The reaction of 3-p-hydroxypheny1-4-amino-5-mercapto-s-triazole
1 with various reagents to afford a
variety of novel polycyclic heterocyclic systems is described. The products are
characterized on the basis of elemental analyses and spectral data. The
antibacterial and antifungal activity of some of the compounds have also been
evaluated. |
