| Abstract: | Imines, 4-alkyl-2-([5-substituted-2-hydroxyphenyl]iminomethyl)benzenols 1, have been obtained successfully in excellent
yield from the corresponding aldehydes and amines by microwave irradiation. The
resultant Schiff bases have been fully characterized by spectral data. |
