| Abstract: | The present
paper deals with traditional knowledge of medicinal plants among rural women of
Garhwal. Seventy women of 11 villages were interviewed on the basis of their
traditional knowledge on the various uses of medicinal plants found in the
adjoining forest and agricultural areas. A total of 113 medicinal plant species
were recorded during the intensive surveys and discussions held with the rural
women. |
