dc.description.abstractThe low frequency dynamics has been investigated by using an elastic body approximation for a spherical virus with free surface. The frequencies for spheroidal mode are obtained in terms of their eigen values. The effect of aqueous surrounding medium is also observed by incorporating the acoustic impedance factor. The damping time, frequency and quality factor are evaluated for a virus-medium system.en_US
