| Abstract: | Nanocomposites comprise multiphase materials
such as metals, polymers inorganic ceramics where at least one constituent
phase has one dimension less than 100 nm. Different types of nanosize
reinforcements, e.g. fiber, nanoclays, nanospheres, nanopowder etc amorphous or
crystalline have been described along with fabrication processes and
characteristics properties of different types of nanocomposites for structural
applications. |
