| Abstract: | Number of plants grown
as ornamentals have medicinal value also. A good many garden plants are
hepatoprotective. The present paper deals with six ornamental plants, which are
used, in traditional medicines for liver disorders and their heptaprotective
properties have been confirmed pharmacologically. |
