Abstract: | The tribals of Nandurbar district have their own system of herbal medicine. Many of their herbal preparations for various ailments are different from Ayurvedic and Unani system of medicine. The paper provides some interesting therapeutic uses of plants ranging from emetic to anti-diabetic. The knowledge system of Nandurbar tribes in herbal medicine shall be useful for phytochemists and pharmacologists for further exploration. |
