Title: One-pot synthesis of antifungal active 9-substituted-3-aryl-5H,13aH-quinolino [3,2-f][1,2,4]triazolo [4,3-b][1,2,4]triazepines

Abstract:  The title compounds, 9-substituted-3-aryl-5H,13aH-quinolino[3,2-f][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b][1,2,4]triazepines 8, are synthesized from 5-aryl-3,4-diamino-1,2,4-triazoles 5 and 2-chloro-3-formylquinolines 7 using catalytic amount of p-TsOH and N,N-dimethylformamide as an energy transfer medium using microwave heating as well as solvent using oil-bath heating at 800C affords novel 9-substituted-3-aryl-5H,13aH-quinolino[3,2-f][1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b][1,2,4]triazepines. The products are obtained in good to moderate yields and are in a state of high purity.
