|Title:||Characterization of nanocrystalline Ag/SiO2 nanocomposites and synthesis by wet chemical method|
|Abstract:||The silver/silica nanocomposites have been successfully prepared by the sol-gel process. After drying in air at 70°C for 30 min, samples are heat treated in air at 150, 300 and 500°C. Characterizations have been made by ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS-NIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
