| Abstract: | 3,4 Dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-ones and 3,4,5,6,7,8-hexahydroquinazolin-2(1H)-ones have been synthesized from the
condensation of ketones, aldehydes and urea/thiourea in the presence of
sodium tertiary butoxide by the
solventless microwave irradiation (MWI) process as well as the conventional
process. |
