| Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to ascertain the use of Internet in the scholarly communication of the social scientists in
IGNOU and analyse its impact on their research and working in the Open Distance Learning (ODL) environment. In the
category of scholarly communication, we include both research as well as course development work. Findings of this study
highlight purposes and frequency of use of the Internet by the social scientists, their methods of locating, accessing and using
information on the Internet. |
