Abstract: | The ethnobotanical exploration study presents the folk medicinal uses of certain plants by tribes of the Rewa district in the Madhya Pradesh state. One hundred and sixty six plants from 69 families, which are therapeutically, used against different diseases, such as cough, cold, dysentery, diarrhoea, ulcers, diabetes, male and female weakness, snake-bite and skin disorders are covered. Part of the plants used, mode of drug administration in different ailments are discussed. |
