| Abstract: | The methanolic extract of the stem bark of Albizzia lebbeck, a new cytotoxic saponin is isolated and characterized with the help of FABMS, 13C NMR and chemical studies. The isolated compound exhibited potent cytotoxic activity against human aqueous cell carcinoma [HSC-2 and HSC-3]. |
