| Abstract: | From a survey of
ethnoveterinary medicinal plants of Puthalam village in Cape Comorin, Tamil
Nadu, 34 species belonging to 30 genera and 21 families of angiosperms were
recorded. The medicinal importance of these plants used by the rural peoples as
traditional medicine for their cattle is enumerated in this communication. |
