| Abstract: | A new long chain aliphatic compound, 10-methyl-n-heptacosane and a new sugar, diglucosyldirhamnoside have been isolated from the ethanolic extract of the stem bark of Balanites aegyptiaca. The structures of these compounds were elucidated by a combination of spectral methods (lR, MS, IH and I3C NMR). |
