| Abstract: | The reactions of cryptotanshinone and tanshinone IIA with diamines, including putrescine and cadaverine are carried out. Eleven new compounds, containing tetrahydrophenanthroimidazole and tetrahydrophenanthrooxazole rings, are synthesized and the possible reaction mechanism is proposed. |
