| Abstract: | A new series of N-3[4-(4-chlorophenyl thiazole-2-yl)-2-amino methyl] quinazoline-4(3H)-one and their derivatives are synthesized. The structures of the title compounds are confirmed on the basis of IR and 1H NMR. The compounds are screened for their antitubercular activity, using H37Rv strain on L J medium. All the compounds have showed moderate to promising antitubercular activity. |
