Abstract: The title compound belongs to isoflavone group and non ionic in nature. All the exocylic oxygen atoms are bonded covalently with the parent carbon atoms. The oxygen atoms are planar with the respective rings to which they are attached. The average C-O bond lengths are found to be 1.33Å. The crystal structure is stabilized by the network of hydrogen bonding in their crystalline assembly
