Abstract: <i style="">Mimosa hamata </i>Willd. (<i style="">Mimosaceae</i>) has demonstrated pronounced bioefficacy against the selected bacteria (<i style="">Escherichia coli, Klebsiella aerogenes, Proteus vulgaris, Staphylococcus aureus </i>and <i style="">Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i>), fungi (<i style="">Aspergillus flavus, Fusarium moniliforme </i>and <i style="">Rhizoctonia bataticola</i>) and viruses (<i style="">Herpes simplex, Poliomyelitis </i>and <i style="">Vesicular stomatitis</i>).
