Abstract: Mimosa hamata Willd. (Mimosaceae) has demonstrated pronounced bioefficacy against the selected bacteria (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella aerogenes, Proteus vulgaris, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa), fungi (Aspergillus flavus, Fusarium moniliforme and Rhizoctonia bataticola) and viruses (Herpes simplex, Poliomyelitis and Vesicular stomatitis).
