| Abstract: | A facile synthesis of biaryl systems has been achieved involving three-component coupling reaction of ethyl β-arylcrotonate, DMF.DMA and electron deficient alkyne. Antibacterial and antifungal activities of a representative biaryl compound are also reported. |
