| Abstract: | The article report the occurrence of the symbiotic brachyuran crab Eumedonus zebra Alcock, 1895 from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, south-eastern coast of India based on the morphometric characteristics of the species. This is the first record of genus Eumedonus from the region and is known to be an obligate symbionts of sea urchins. |
